A production city car, a Garrett turbo and 110 horsepower. In 1982, that was enough to stand up to far bigger machinery.

That year the R5 Alpine received a turbocharger grafted onto its 1,397 cc engine, taking output to 110 horsepower for under 900 kilos. Not to be confused with the mid-engined R5 Turbo: here the engine stays at the front and the front wheels are driven.

The Overcut t-shirt pairs 180 gsm recycled cotton with a lightly structured regular fit. The high-density embroidery, done in France, renders the car’s silhouette precisely and survives the wash. Available in Écru, French Marine and Kaki.
