A saloon fit for the ideal son-in-law, with its cylinder head handed to Cosworth. Mercedes never built a more contradictory car.

In 1983 the compact from Stuttgart received a sixteen-valve cylinder head developed by Cosworth. Three cars immediately covered 50,000 kilometres on the Nardò bowl at an average of more than 240 km/h. The following year, a 190E 2.3-16 won the inaugural race at the new Nürburgring, in the hands of a newcomer named Ayrton Senna.

The Overcut t-shirt pairs 180 gsm recycled cotton with a lightly structured regular fit. The high-density embroidery, done in France, renders the car’s silhouette precisely and survives the wash. Available in Écru, French Marine and Kaki.
