The 1959 tail fins have never been surpassed. Nobody has even tried.
The Eldorado opened the line in 1953 in very small numbers, then reached in 1959 the absolute peak of the American tail fin. In 1967 it moved to front-wheel drive, and in 1970 received an 8.2-litre V8: the largest engine ever fitted to a production passenger car.
The Overcut sweatshirt pairs 320 gsm fleece with a brushed inner face and a lightly dropped oversize fit. The high-density embroidery, done in France, renders the car’s silhouette precisely and survives the wash. Available in Écru, French Marine and Kaki.
