The gullwing doors were not a styling choice. The tubular frame ran so high up the flanks that conventional doors were impossible.
The first production car with direct petrol injection, the 300 SL of 1954 put a machine built for racing onto the road, and created one of the most recognisable profiles of the century along the way.
The Overcut sweatshirt pairs 320 gsm fleece with a brushed inner face and a lightly dropped oversize fit. The high-density embroidery, done in France, renders the car’s silhouette precisely and survives the wash. Available in Écru, French Marine and Kaki.
