A front bonnet that tilts forward in one piece and the turning circle of a London taxi. The Spitfire is a sports car you repaired yourself, at the kerb.

Drawn by Giovanni Michelotti on a backbone chassis derived from the Triumph Herald, it was built from 1962 to 1980 in more than three hundred thousand units. Small capacity, featherweight, complete mechanical access: it made the English roadster affordable.

The Overcut sweatshirt pairs 320 gsm fleece with a brushed inner face and a lightly dropped oversize fit. The high-density embroidery, done in France, renders the car’s silhouette precisely and survives the wash. Available in Écru, French Marine and Kaki.
