The aluminium came from a post-war steel shortage: it stayed. Named Defender in 1990 to set it apart from the Discovery, a direct descendant of the 1948 Land Rover, it left the Solihull factory until January 2016. Live axles, a ladder frame, and a silhouette nobody ever dared to round off.
The Overcut polo shirt combines breathable cotton piqué with a clean, straight cut. The high-density embroidery, made in France, reproduces the model's silhouette precisely and stands up to washing. Available in French Marine and Écru.
