A sketch traced in the sand of a Welsh beach in 1947. Everything started there.
Maurice Wilks drew the first Land Rover on the beach at Red Wharf Bay. Shown in Amsterdam in 1948, it had an eighty-inch wheelbase and an aluminium alloy body, for want of steel after the war. It was only meant to be a stopgap for Rover: it founded a brand.
The Overcut sleeveless puffer vest pairs a quilted, water-repellent fabric with a warm, lightweight fill. The high-density embroidery, made in France, places the model's silhouette on the chest. Available in black.
